Coaching Process

How many times have you read a book on ADHD or spent hours reading various websites on ADHD and wondered what to do with all that information? How to connect the dots? It can be really hard to figure out the exact steps you need to take to connect your newfound knowledge with your current reality and to make the changes or new habits work and stick!

ADHD Coaching Advantage is a specialized form of life coaching in which my extensive knowledge and experience with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder will be utilized in partnership with the client to overcome whatever challenges are getting in the way of the client's success.  I will bring my understanding, knowledge, support, proven techniques, structure, and accountability to the client’s current life experiences and future goals.  The client brings a strong desire to change and a willingness to take action. It's a powerful combination.

ADHD coaching is holistic. It focuses on the whole person, not just the disorder. It's targeted to your individual needs, preferences, values, and lifestyle.   You will learn how to turn the obstacles of ADHD symptoms into opportunities for personal, professional or academic growth. 

What is ADHD keeping you from accomplishing?   Finally a person and a process to guide you beyond just reading about it into knowing how to connect those dots and how to capitalize on your own strengths and capabilities to actually achieve the successes and accomplishments that you really want!

How is this done?

Through personal one on one sessions, 50 minutes in length, over the telephone (toll free), by video conference, or in person (in the New Jersey/Pennsylvania area), your coaching session is intended to be time focused on you. To maintain forward movement and accountability, sessions are held usually once a week.

Each coaching session will feel conversational yet structured purposefully. Outcomes will be defined, barriers, options, and possibilities will be explored and accountability measures developed – all the while connecting to long-term goals and vision. I strictly adhere to all ethical and confidentiality guidelines established by the International Coaching Federation and the HIPPA Privacy Rule. My humor, compassion, and unwavering belief in the potential of my client is the part of me that you will also experience in our coaching relationship.

Coaching continues month-to-month until you've reached your goals. The process typically takes somewhere between three and twelve months. Between-session support and accountability check-ins, as often as daily via email or text, are included.
